and yes it does hurt sometimes. My theory is this: he was weaned too early from his mother. Apparently the people who's yard the mother cat would hang out and have her litters in, got tired of finding homes for the kitties. So the pound was called to round up the mother cat however they left the litter of little kitties behind. In comes me to the rescue. Mingus came home with me...and well he nurses on my finger even still at 3 years old.
