Today, I could hardly believe my eyes when I logged into my email account there was an invitation from SXSW to play this year's festival as a solo artist. I guess it's true, although I will be following up tomorrow with the SXSW office to make sure they made no mistakes. I'm excited, finally getting asked to play in my own home town. Who would have guessed?
